SCENIC FLIGHT PRICES $40 per person, minimum 2 people. Discounted family rates: $95 for family of 3 (maximum of 2 adults) $145 for family of 4 or 5 (maximum of 2 adults) Family is considered siblings under twelve years of age with a maximum of two adults. Hours: Sept thru June: 9 am - 5 pm July and August: 9 am - 5 pm Reservations: No reservations are necessary. All flights are weather dependent. TOUR DESCRIPTIONS Whiteface Tour: Starts by going over Lake Placid Village and the lake, and then goes on to Whiteface Mountain. The route takes you over all of the Olympic Venues, including the “Miracle on Ice” Olympic Arena, Whiteface Mountain Alpine Ski Area and the Bobsled and Luge runs at Mt. Van Hoevenberg. The flight returns via Cascade pass and past the Olympic Ski Jump facility where Ski Jumpers and Freestyle Aerialists compete and train all year. High Peaks Tour: See the highest peaks in the state, Lake tear-of-the-Clouds, Lost Pond, Avalanche Pass, Indian Pass, Panther Gorge, Ausable Lakes, the Great Range, Haystack Mt. and more. This is a spectacular route and the only way to see it is by air or on foot. Return via the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Olympic Complex and the Olympic Ski Jump Facility. |
